The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) has just published their most recent survey results. And as always, Iāve done the reading & summarising of the 24 page report š on your behalf, so you can save your most precious asset āØ, namely your time ā±ļø:
Key insights:
1. Digital transformation remains a top business issue for organizations today & they increasingly turn to trusted advisors
2. Developing next generation leaders, creating & maintaining cultures of innovation are top of mind
3. Organizations view their hashtag#EVP as the greatest challenge to attracting the right talent
4. Being able to provide enough growth or development is the greatest challenge to retain top talent
5. M&A, long-term value creation, & board recruitment are top priorities
7. Business leaders worldwide rate the diversity within their organizationās executive ranks fair at best
š In summary, attraction & retention of top talent rank as the #1 business issue by hashtag#CEOs worldwide
And 43% of CEOs cite lack of talent & skills as a barrier to future innovation, making it the biggest obstacle to overcome by 2020 according to the The Conference Board
In a nutshell, hashtag#DigitalTransformation is a key issue for organisations today, however the key issues for organisations in 2025 are about developing the next generation of leaders & creating and/or maintaining innovative cultures
